One of my favorite neighborhoods is Montmartre which is built on a hill. Just below the Place Emile-Goudeau is Le Relais de la Butte. This touristy but lovely café teeters on the side of a street that leads to the top of the hill. The café is a great place to linger in the good weather whether you are struggling up the hill or tumbling back down. We stayed in the neighborhood and this was a great spot for people-watching.
