Pont Aven famous for Paul Gauguin visiting and painting here in the 19th century. The town is on an estuary that breaks into a system of streams around which the town is built. It feels like a tiny little Venice or Amsterdam. The town is touristy but has some lovely old hotels and restaurants. And many, many art galleries!
